A new Catholic school is coming to Fairfield!

In 2010-2011, a new Catholic school will open in Fairfield for students in PreK (age 3) through Grade 8. Rooted in the faith, tradition and ministries of Holy Family School and Our Lady of the Assumption School, the new school will carry Catholic education forward in eastern Fairfield.

A faith based curriculum is the foundation for the school's academic excellence, complemented with state-of-the-art instructional technology as well as advanced science and math programming. Consistent with other Catholic schools in Fairfield County with US Department of Education Blue Ribbon designation, the new school's academic program will include curriculum mapping, differentiated instruction, and ongoing faculty professional development to ensure students continue to meet and exceed state proficiency tests in reading and math.

The school community will center itself each day on the teachings of Jesus Christ and will instill a strong sense of Gospel values, respect for each other as well as ourselves, and an appreciation for the world around us.

Our safe and secure learning environment will be housed on the beautiful grounds of Our Lady of the Assumption parish, nestled in a northeastern neighborhood of Fairfield.
